Viewing Profile Details

The View Profile page provides a comprehensive overview of profile configuration, policies, and restrictions.

Accessing the View Profile Page​

Click on any profile name in the profiles table to open the detailed view.

Page Layout​

The View Profile page is organized into summary cards and tabbed sections for easy navigation.

Summary Cards​

At the top of the page, four summary cards display key information:

Version Card​

Shows the current profile version number. Version increments with each modification to track changes over time.

Device Count Card​

Displays the number of devices currently assigned to this profile. Click to view the list of devices.

Status Card​

Indicates whether the profile is:

  • Active (Published) – Available for device assignment
  • Inactive (Unpublished) – Draft state, not deployable

Last Modified Card​

Shows the date and time of the most recent profile modification, helping track update history.

Profile Info Tab​

The Profile Info tab displays comprehensive details about the profile.

Information Displayed​

  • Name – The profile name
  • Description – Detailed description of the profile's purpose
  • Status – Published or unpublished state
  • Version – Current version number
  • Created By – Username of the person who created the profile
  • Last Modified By – Username of the person who last updated the profile
  • Created Time – Timestamp of profile creation
  • Last Modified Time – Timestamp of the most recent update

  • All data is dynamically displayed based on the selected profile and updates in real-time.

Policies Tab​

The Policies tab provides an overview of all policies configured for this profile.

Viewing Policies​

  • A list of all policies linked to the profile is displayed
  • Click on any policy to reveal its specific settings and configurations
  • Policies are organized by category for easy navigation
  • Each policy shows its current state (enabled/disabled)

Policy Categories​

Typical policy categories include:

  • Security Policies – Password requirements, encryption, screen lock
  • Network Policies – Wi-Fi, VPN, mobile data configurations
  • Application Policies – App installation, updates, restrictions
  • Device Policies – Camera, Bluetooth, USB, location services
  • System Policies – System updates, factory reset protection

  • Click on each policy to expand and view detailed configuration options.

Restrictions Tab​

The Restrictions tab displays all restrictions applied to the profile.

Viewing Restrictions​

  • A comprehensive list of active restrictions is shown
  • Click on any restriction to open detailed settings
  • Restrictions are grouped by functionality
  • Each restriction shows whether it's enforced or optional

Common Restrictions​

  • Device Modifications – Factory reset, developer options, USB debugging
  • Connectivity – Bluetooth, NFC, mobile hotspot, tethering
  • User Features – Add user, screen capture, safe mode, airplane mode
  • Security Features – Biometric unlock, trusted agents, credentials management

  • Some restrictions may conflict with certain policies. Review carefully to ensure desired device behavior.

Edit Profile Button​

A floating action button is available at the bottom right corner of the page.

Button Features​

  • Location – Fixed position at bottom right
  • Visual Effect – Ripple animation when clicked
  • Action – Redirects to the Edit Profile page

When to Use​

Click the Edit Profile button when you need to:

  • Modify profile details, policies, or restrictions
  • Add or remove applications
  • Update web applications
  • Change policy configurations

  • This button provides quick access to edit mode without returning to the profiles table.

Efficient Profile Review​

  1. Start with Summary Cards – Get a quick overview of key metrics
  2. Check Profile Info – Verify basic details and ownership
  3. Review Policies – Examine configured policies for completeness
  4. Verify Restrictions – Ensure restrictions align with security requirements
  5. Use Edit Button – Make modifications directly when needed

Quick Actions​

  • Use browser back button to return to profiles table
  • Bookmark frequently accessed profiles for quick access
  • Use the floating edit button for immediate modifications
