Profiles Overview
Profiles are the core component of device management in CDOT MDM. They allow you to configure policies, restrictions, applications, and settings that will be applied to enrolled devices.

Profiles Table Interface​
The Profiles table provides an organized interface for managing user profiles efficiently. When accessing the Profiles section, the table displays comprehensive information about all configured profiles.
Table Columns​
The profiles table displays the following information:
- Name – Displays the profile's name
- Description – Provides a brief overview of the profile's purpose
- Status – Indicates whether the profile is published or unpublished
- Version – Shows the profile version
- Device Count – Displays the number of devices using the profile
- Action Buttons – Edit, Delete, Clone, and Export buttons for profile management
Quick Actions​
- Export Button – Located at the top for exporting profile data
- Add Button – Prominently displayed for creating new profiles
Exporting Profile Data​
Users can export profile data in CSV or PDF format for reporting and analysis.
Export Steps​
- Click the Export button to view format options
- Select either CSV or PDF for downloading
- The exported file excludes the Edit, Clone, and Delete columns to maintain data integrity
- The file is saved to your designated download location

Export profiles regularly for backup and compliance purposes.
Profile Status​
Profiles can have two states:
- Published (Green Icon) – Active and can be assigned to devices
- Unpublished (Orange Icon) – Draft state, not available for device assignment

- Only published profiles can be assigned to devices during enrollment or profile updates.
